In 2019, The National Trial Lawyers being named him the Top 100" list as well as the Top 25" Motor Vehicle Trial Lawyers. In 2020, he was named one of the Top 10" Trucking Trial Lawyers. Mike is a board member and lecturer for the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers. He has educated many lawyers on Construction Accident and Labor Law Litigation.

Mike's desire for helping those who have been seriously injured due to the fault of others stems back to his childhood when he was the victim of a truck collision. As a teenager, he was forced to undergo major surgery to his neck.

Mike understands the profound impact an injury can have on a family. He remembers the anxiety and the uncertainty he felt. Mike remembers to treat his clients with passion, empathy, and respect. He understands the lengths insurance carriers and corporate defendants will go to avoid responsibility.

Mike primarily represents construction workers, pedestrians, motorists, and the families of those who have suffered severe injury or death due to someone else’s wrongdoing.

More About Mike

Mike began his legal career as a prosecutor in the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office, where he successfully litigated more than one hundred cases.

These cases included homicides, home invasions, robbery, gang assaults, and vehicular assaults resulting from driving under the influence (DWI). His exceptional performance led to a promotion to the prestigious Major Offense Bureau, where he became its youngest member. As co-chair, he secured a conviction in a 25-year-old cold case murder trial that drew national media attention.

After leaving the DA's Office, Mike joined one of New York's largest medical malpractice firms where he defended doctors, hospitals, podiatrists, dentists, and chiropractors against allegations of malpractice. This position gave him knowledge and insights into medical issues integral to his injury cases at the firm.

Mike has lectured, in conjunction with the Nassau County Police Department, to local high school students about the dangers of drunk, drugged, and distracted driving. He continues to volunteer to causes such as MADD

In addition to coaching his son’s baseball and flag football teams, Mike dedicates time to mentoring young people and giving back to the community. He believes a good reputation is more precious than gold and strives to uphold that principle in everything he does.
